Reading strategies is a broad term and can mean something different to any individual. Typically, most educators think "Reading Comprehension Strategies" when discussing strategies in general. Reading comprehension is the ultimate goal of reading so it makes sense we naturally tend to teach these strategies more frequently.
As proficient readers, we have internalized these reading strategies to the point where our brains use many of them automatically and without conscious effort. 300 strategies in support of 13 reading goals with each strategy linked to skills, genres, and reading levels to complement and extend your teaching.
